92080af40298431221d395e09ae35ac0 Our schedule is as follows: Young Beginner: 4:00-5:00 Beginner: 5:00-6:00 Advanced Beginner/Novice: 5:30-7:00 Young Beginner: For dancers between the ages of 4-6 with no prior Irish Dance experience. Beginner: For dancers over 6 years with little or no Irish Dance experience. Dancers learn all soft shoe dances at this level and master basic technique. Advanced Beginner/Novice: For dancers that have mastered the beginner soft shoe dances. Dancers begin learning hard shoe dances. Novice dancers begin the Traditional Set. Dancers that practice and are motivated by performing are encouraged to compete and participate in performances at this level.   Teacher Biography: Colleen Kanaley TCRG Colleen Kanaley started dancing at a young age with Maureen Haley – TCRG of Co. Galway. During that time Colleen competed as an Open Champion for 11 years. She placed top 5 multiple times at the New England Championships and is a North American and Word Champion competitor. During her career, Colleen performed for Tony Kenny, Eileen Ivers of Riverdance, and the Boston Pops. In 2012, Colleen passed the TCRG exam, the Irish Dancing Teachers Exam set by the Irish Gaelic Commission in Dublin.   b3ba55889fee47abb23afe39d809d62e<a Since it’s establishment in 2012, the Kanaley School has over 40 members residing in Plymouth to Wellfleet. Aside from weekly classes, the school hosts workshops for its students led by the dancers of Protijig and Riverdance. Our philosophy has aided dancers to their outstanding success at local competition and at the New England Championships. Aside from competition, the Kanaley School dancers enjoy performing at nursing homes and fundraisers to support their local community.
